Snowmobile Excursion to the Arctic Circle - Full day (150 km)
We begin our journey along the frozen Råneå River, passing by the white marshes. We drive beneath the snow-covered pine crowns, through diverse forest landscape, looking out over the wide open moorland. Furthermore, we follow the historic "Iron-Ore Trail", which takes us up to the Arctic Circle. We rest and eat a cooked outdoor lunch on reindeer skins around the campfire. There will be an opportunity to try snowshoeing in meter-deep snow. After lunch we continue the last stretch to the Polar Circle monument in the middle of nowhere.
Our winter adventure begins with a thorough safety briefing and handling of your snowmobile before we head out. This tour is a fantastic journey into a historic winter world.
